Crit Night with Paris Lectures

Join us for this free event, a unique opportunity to get professional critique on *YOUR* creative work and a chance to hear Waterloo based sculptor Ruth Abernethy speak about her work. Whether you are a painter, a textile artist, a student, a dabbler looking for feedback, critique has the ability to propel your work in new unexpected directions and to take it to the next level. Come speak to our friendly artisan experts for an outside opinion or simply be an observer and get inspired by the makers and creatives around you. There will be plenty going on, even if you do not plan to get a critique.

This special Saturday event is a collaboration between Jane & Jury design studio, through their Paris Lectures event series, and Glenhyrst Art Gallery. Doors will open at 7pm, talks will begin at 7:30pm. Food and drinks available.

Follow the event on Facebook for an opportunity to pre-book a 15 minute 1:1 critique and to learn more about our guests artists as they are announced.

Please reserve your ticket to RSVP your free ticket. Limited capacity available.

What is Paris Lectures?
The purpose of our creative meetups is really simple – share what people in the community are working on, inspire each other with everyone’s many talents, and simply get to know our creative neighbours in a casual, social setting. These events are hosted by the Paris-based graphic and web design studio, Jane & Jury.
